A Note From Our Founder, Grant

Hi! My name is Grant and I am the Founder of Cut-Splice. I started doing hair over a decade ago, first working at one of the top salons in Boston, and then founding Cut-Splice Charlestown in June of 2014 while my wife was pregnant with our third child. We welcomed him a week later on July 4th. 18 months later we expanded Cut-Splice to our second location at the Innovation and Design Building in the Seaport District of Boston. Cut-Splice now employs over a dozen amazing hairstylists and support staff between our two locations and is committed to building the best customer experience in the Greater Boston area.

Cut-Splice Charlestown in the Navy Yard is serene; a quiet heavily residential nestling with amazing views of all of Boston harbor. We are lucky to have tremendous views out our windows of not only the City of Boston, but the USS Constitution, the Garden, the north end and much more. Speckled with restaurants and loaded with history, the Navy Yard is a great place for views and a stroll and of course, fantastic hair. 

Cut-splice Danvers resides just outside of downtown in a suburb about a half hour drive north of Boston. Located in a charming single story building beside parks and walking trails, it’s a nice place to take in nature and some peace. Featuring a parking lot and easy access to major highways it offers a nice break from the hustle and bustle in a more intimate setting.
